The house has been designed in a modern Scandinavian style, offering a bright, airy and welcoming atmosphere that instantly feels like home. Every detail has been considered for your comfort, with high-quality bed linen and towels provided throughout.

We are also pet-friendly upon request, so your four-legged friends can enjoy the stay with you. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing retreat or a base for exploring the surrounding countryside, The Stables is the perfect place to unwind and recharge.

Gateways to the Region

The Stables is located north of Glasgow approximately 20 minutes by car. There is ample parking and we can accommodate larger vehicles on request.

It is conveniently located between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Glasgow airport is 25 minutes and Edinburgh 50 minutes.

There is easy access to the Trossachs. Also close by is Loch Lomond the longest loch in Scotland

There are many golf courses with access for visitors and there is a golf course in the village of Balmore, walking distance. Visitors are welcome.

The town of Milngavie and the start of the West Highland way are 10 minutes drive.

There is a bus stop in the village and the nearest train is 10 minutes.
